Opening an e& money account is super easy! Just follow these steps:

1. Download the e& money app from the AppStore, Google Play, or App Gallery

2. Enter your mobile number

3. Enter the OTP sent your number

4. Scan your Emirates ID

5. Take a selfie

6. Fill out the form with any additional information requested

7. Set your e& money application PIN.

8. Khalas! You’re all set!

Yes, as long as you meet the following requirements, you can open an account from anywhere in the world:

  • You must be a resident of the UAE.
  • You must be older than 16 years.
  • You must have a valid Emirates ID.
  • You must have a UAE mobile number.

The PIN, or Private Identification Number, is a four-digit security code that will be used to verify your identity whenever you interact with e& money or initiate a transaction. You will have to define this PIN during the registration process.

Nope! e& money functions as a digital wallet, so no bank account is needed. You can add money directly from your bank account, via debit/credit card, or through cash deposits at various kiosks and agent locations. Find your nearest location here

You can update your mobile number registered in e& money anytime.

If you have access to your previous mobile number, simply follow below steps;

1. Login e& money application with your previous phone number

2. Click profile icon in the right corner of homepage

3. Click manage button under profile picture

4. Click Update button in mobile number field

5. Enter your new mobile number

6. OTP will be sent to new mobile number, please enter

7. After OTP verification, it is done! You have updated your mobile number.

If you don't have access to your previous number, please send email to support@eandmoney.com from your registered e-mail address with your Emirates ID frond and back side copy.

No worries! Changing your network will not affect your e& money account.

Only one account per mobile number and Emirates ID is allowed.

Absolutely not! There are no minimum balance requirements or low balance fees with e& money.

Currently, e& money does not support joint accounts.

To close your account, please email support@eandmoney.com with a copy of your Emirates ID from your registered email address.


Yes, If your account hasn't seen any financial activity for 6 months, you might see an inactivity fee. But here's the exciting part: staying opens up a world of benefits! active with your e& money account From enjoying the best rates on international transfers to earning 1% cash rewards every time you use your e& money card – there’s so much to gain. Plus, it’s your ticket to effortlessly managing your finances daily. By staying active, you avoid fees and keep enjoying all the great features we offer.

It’s simple! Just keep your account active with any type of transaction. You could send money internationally, pay bills, shop with your e& money card, redeem your cash rewards, or even send money to someone's phone number. Every transaction keeps your account active and fee-free.

If there's been no action in your account for 6 months, a fee of 12.99 AED will be applied. If the inactivity continues to 9 months, another 12.99 AED fee is added, and this pattern may continue every three months. After a year of inactivity, the fee of 12.99 AED becomes monthly. But remember, a little activity is all it takes to keep your account vibrant and fee-free!

The fee will come out of your e& money wallet. If there’s enough there, we’ll deduct the full fee. If not, we'll only take what’s available. Don’t worry, we’ll always keep you in the loop with the specifics in our fee schedule.

Not at all! If your balance is zero, the inactivity fee doesn't apply. It’s all about keeping things fair and square.
