Both online and cash methods are available to add money to your e& money account.

-          You can link your UAE bank accounts to add money to your account

-          You can transfer funds directly from your bank's online banking platform

-          You can use UAE issued debit/credit cards

-          You can do fund-in via Apple Pay too

If you would like to do fund in using cash, you can via Kiosk machined and agents. Here are the locations

 

Simply follow below steps:

1.       Click ‘Add money’ under e& money account

2.       Click ‘Bank account’

3.       Link your account first

4.       When your account is ready to use, you will get notified. Select the bank account

5.       Enter the amount and follow the steps to authorize money transfers from your bank account

6.       Khalas! You have initiated the money transfer.

For money transfers initiated during working days/hours, within 10 minutes, you will receive the amount in your e& money account. Stay calm, you will be notified when money is credited into your e& money account.  Your money is always saved with e& money. If you don’t receive the money within 2 working days at most, please reach out to e& money customer care team. 

If you want to Add Money from your UAE bank but couldn't find it in the bank list or would you like to send money directly from your bank, you can use our FAB bank account number and IBAN to transfer money to your e& money balance. Don't forget to mention your registered e& money phone number in the transfer details, so we can top-up your account behalf of you!

Note: entering the mobile number is mandatory or the transaction will fail. 

You can top up your e& money wallet by tapping "Add Money" on your homepage or by going to "Add Money" under Services. After selecting "Debit / credit card" you can use your Saved Cards or you can add a new card to top up the account. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.

Only UAE issued cards are allowed. There is no fee applied to fund-ins with debit card, however there is fee for the fund-ins with credit card.

Below is the steps for adding money with debit/credit card;

1.       Click ‘Add money’ under e& money account

2.       Click ‘Debit/credit card’

3.       Add a new debit/card or select one of saved cards.

4.       Enter the amount

5.       Enter CVV of your card

6.       OTP will be sent from your bank to authorize the transaction. Please enter OTP in opened interface

7.       Khalas! You have successfully added money to your account.

Fund-in via debit card/ credit card is happening instantly. 

You can use only UAE issued Mastercard and Visa debit/credit cards with Apple Pay. Simply click 'Add money' and select Apple Pay option. If you don't have eligible card saved in Apple Wallet, don't worry you can add new card and do fund-in at the same time.

Below are the steps for adding money with debit/credit card;

1.       Click ‘Add money’ under e& money account

2.       Click ‘Apple Pay’

3.       Enter amount

4.       Flow the steps in Apple Pay interface. When fund-in is successful, you will see success screen in e& money application.

Fund-in via Apple Pay is happening instantly.

When you visit an agent, they will be there to support you to cash-in to your e& money account. Don't forget to mention your registered e& money phone number!

Below are the steps for finding available agent locations.

1.       Click ‘Add money’ under e& money account

2.       Click ‘Agents’ menu, please give location permission so that we can list closest agents to you

3.       Click ‘Location’ icon on the right side to get directions on the map

Etisalat, UPay, NT Payment, MBME, Smart Issuance are accepted partners. You can check the available locations for kiosks through your app. Or you can find it from here: https://www.eandmoney.com/en/locations/locations.html

When you visit a kiosk, follow the steps to cash-in.

Below are the steps for finding available agent locations:

  1. Click ‘Add money’ under e& money account.
  2. Click ‘Payment machines’ menu, please give location permission so that we can list closest agents to you.
  3. Click ‘Location’ icon on the right side to get directions on the map.

In the e& money app, tap "Add Money", choose "Agents" to view nearby locations on a map. Ensure location services are enabled for the best results.

Instantly for debit/credit card and Apple Pay.

Bank transfers within an hour during business hours, but make sure that account number (with the format of 9715XXXXXXX) is written in the remarks of transfer.

Cash deposits via agents and kiosks are also instant.

You can do fund-in via debit card, Apple Pay without any fees.

For the fund-ins from bank account, e& money is not charging any fee. For local money transfer fees, you can check with your bank.

For the fund-ins from agents or payment machines, your first 3 transactions in each month is free. If you do fund-in in a month between 4 to 6 times, there will be AED 3.99 fee charged to per transactions. If you do more than 6 transactions in a month, AED 4.99 will be charged to each transaction.

For the fund-ins via credit card, there is service fee.  Please find the service fees for credit card top ups. As e& money, we are not charging any hidden fee. Please be aware that some additional fees may be applied by your bank.

Except fund-in from bank accounts, all fund-in transactions are happening instantly. Please make sure that transaction was completed successfully.

If you fund-in via bank account inside e& money application, you should have received the money within an hour if you did the transaction in banking working hours.

If you did fund-via bank account from your bank internet or mobile banking, please check receiver account details, and confirm that you have entered your account number in remarks of the transfer.

Note: entering the mobile number is mandatory or the transaction will fail. The format should be 9715XXXXXX. If you haven’t entered your account number in remarks, money will be refunded to your bank account within 2 days.

If you entered your account number in remarks, money will be credited within an hour if it is in banking working hours otherwise it will be credited the next working day. 

Even after 24 hours if you haven't received the funds, reach us at 8003925538 for further support.

In order to support you as quickly as possible, we will require some information about your transaction, mentioned below.

If the transfer was done via bank account, please provide the below details:

 - Either the swift copy of the transaction and/or a bank statement copy clearly indicating the IBAN and Account Title from which the fund transfer was done.

 - Amount of the transfer

 - Time-stamp of the transfer

If the transfer was done via card, then please provide the below details:

 - Time-stamp of the transfer

 - The authorization / approval code for the transfer

 - The first 6 and last 4 digits of the card used to make the transfer.

There might be three reasons:

  1. Machine might have some technical issues while operating. It's recommended to visit another payment machine in this case.
  2. The machine might run out of cash.  It's recommended to visit another payment machine in this case.
  3. You may hit the daily or monthly limits for adding money via physical channels, or you may hit the cumulative top-up limits for that month.
